Schema markup tells Google exactly what your page is about. It is structured data: code added to your HTML that describes your content in a language search engines understand directly, rather than inferring it from your text.
When Google understands your content clearly, it can surface it in richer ways. Schema markup enables rich results: star ratings in search listings, FAQ dropdowns, business hours panels, and more. These rich results take up more space on the results page and earn significantly higher click-through rates.
For local Perth businesses, LocalBusiness schema is particularly powerful. It tells Google your name, address, phone number, opening hours, and service area: all the signals that influence Local Pack rankings (the map listings that appear at the top of local searches).
Most agencies treat schema as an afterthought, adding it as a plugin after launch. We bake it into every site from the first line of code. Every Render Marketing site ships with appropriate schema for the business type: LocalBusiness, WebPage, BreadcrumbList, and Article schema where relevant.
You don't need to touch any code. We handle it, validate it with Google's Rich Results Test, and update it as your business changes.
